sociodama = group issues Improbable players develop their own performances with their own personal experience. But in basic workshops the Players use "sociodrama", a style of theater that concerns itself with group issues. It is a group action method in which participants improvise on an agreed upon social situation and discover alternative ways of dealing with the problem.
In the workshops, the Players never ask students or teachers to reveal anything personal about themselves. This style of interactive improvisation provides a safe environment to explore and work on issues. It's not therapy -but often, working on solutions is very theraputic.
